Color palette of Fall

The summer has ended, the leaves are falling, and fall has arrived.  Fall offers an opportunity for a warm, cozy wedding.  The setting is romantic, the colors are rich and the options are endless.  Outdoor weddings are ideal, as due to longer summers, the weather is still mild and the scenery is beautiful.  Parks, barns and vineyards make excellent settings this time of year.  If you will be celebrating this day indoors, bring some of the outdoors with you.  Leaves, tree branches and even in-season fruit such as apples can make excellent additions to your wedding décor.  Be creative!

Fall is the season for rich, warm colors and earth tones.  Gold tones, oranges, reds, chocolate browns and even shades of olive are some of the dominant tones this season.  These colors can be used in any and every aspect of your wedding. Incorporate these colors in your bridal party attire, reception décor, invites, the options are endless. For a romantic look, incorporate candles in your table centrepieces.  Transparent vases filled with fruit have also become a new trend in the fall season.  Use fruit that match the color scheme of your wedding such as red apples or yellow pears.
